MarTrack C64 SID Tracker 0.1.0-alpha.1 - Freeware

MarTrack C64 SID Tracker is free to download and use. It has three SID
voices, 16 patterns, 64 rows per pattern and 16 SID instrument slots.
This is an alpha version for C64-compatible machines and emulators.
Physical C64/C64 Ultimate and storage-device compatibility is unverified.
Use a separate disk or a COPY of your disk image, not your only copy of
any important songs.

Getting started

Open MarTrack.prg with your C64-compatible loader, or mount MarTrack.d64:
  LOAD "MARTRACK",8,1
  RUN
F1 starts/stops the included example. Begin at a low listening volume.

F5: instrument parameters F7: load MTS1 (device 8)
F8: save MTS1 (device 8) RUN/STOP: stop audio

EDIT OFF is the default, so preview and movement do not modify notes.
The instrument page provides triangle, saw, pulse and noise waveforms,
ADSR, pulse width and gate length.

Songs and saving

This program uses its own MTS1 song format. It does not open MED/MOD,
SID or .martrack files. The three native SID voices are separate from
MarTrack Web's 16/32/64-voice keyboard setting.

F7 opens a song and F8 saves it on device 8. Choose a NEW filename of up
to 16 characters, as existing files are not replaced automatically.
Physical drive and flash-storage operation is unverified. Always keep
backups and use disposable disk-image copies for this alpha version.

Freeware and credits

Use and download are free of charge. Source and library license terms
remain in effect; see LICENSE.txt and CC65-NOTICE.txt. The source files
are included. Freeware describes the price, not a replacement license.

The tracker workflow draws inspiration from Teijo Kinnunen's MED/OctaMED.
The separate retro window in MarTrack Web follows OctaMED v4; this C64
program does not claim to be an OctaMED port. No original OctaMED code,
graphics, ROMs or system font files are included.
